What makes the experience with Philippe Boulanger unique?
Unique for his Innovational Intelligence™ system, described in his book published by Dunod in French (“Innover ou agoniser, c’est vous qui voyez – La révélation de l’Intelligence Innovationnelle®”) and coming in English in Spring 2026. His system enables the implementation of the fundamentals of innovation, transformation, and successful adoption of artificial intelligence.
Unique because his system and support services are applicable to both large corporations and small and medium-sized businesses.
It is unique for its experiential keynotes, which are used either on their own to boost teams or as part of one of his innovation or transformation programs. The experiments used with the audience allow messages to be strongly anchored through the use of neuroscience and behavioral psychology. Surprises and humor are critical elements in his presentations.
Unique because, as an entrepreneur and senior executive at major corporations (Apple, Sony, Quadient), and as a speaker for audiences at prestigious universities (HEC, Harvard), his credibility powerfully reinforces his clients’ messages.
Unique because all his keynotes are prepared and customized to have a maximum and lasting impact on participants. Ask Philippe to show you his secret page where you will see to which extent he goes above and beyond in terms of customization.
Unique because of the perspectives brought by his international professional experience, which goes beyond a limited French experience:
- French entrepreneur.
- At SAT (SAGEM Group), products distributed on four continents
- At Apple (USA), also in charge of European Research and Development.
- At Sony, in charge of VAIO laptop development in Europe and Sony’s direct sales in Europe.
- At Quadient (formerly Neopost), in charge of 1.100+ engineers in 20 R&D groups around the world, from Brisbane (Australia) to Seattle.
Unique as an international conference professional:
- President 2020-2022 of the French Association of Professional Speakers
- Professional member of the National Speakers Association (USA)
- Member of the Board of Directors of the Global Speakers Federation (GSF)
- Represented by the best speaker agents in France and abroad
Why is it ridiculously easy to work with Philippe Boulanger?
Philippe has been on both sides of the fence. He understands your constraints as an event organizer or decision-maker, having been in your shoes many times before. Philippe is therefore committed to giving you an unforgettable positive experience before, during, and after your event.
You can count on Philippe’s innovative abilities to help you find solutions to your constraints.
What is the timeline for a Philippe Boulanger intervention?
One essential prerequisite: the date of your event!
Philippe spends his life traveling between different continents, and he is booked for keynotes up to 18 months in advance. If you are one of those who absolutely want Philippe to speak at your event, book him as soon as possible or be prepared to change the date of your event. The date of your event is the first question that will be asked during the briefing.
The rule to follow: ask Philippe as early as possible if he is available on the planned date of your event.
The briefing, your specifications
During a videoconference, you will explain the context of your project, the intended audience, the messages you want to emphasize, and the results you expect, which will ensure that Philippe’s keynote is a definite success for you.
The proposal
Philippe will get back to you within 24 hours of the briefing with a proposal for content specific to your event. Along with the content proposal, Philippe will send technical specifications for the requirements of your event.
The quote and contract
Philippe’s agent will send you a quote. Once you accept it, you will receive an invoice for a deposit. The date will be definitively reserved for you in Philippe’s schedule once the deposit invoice has been paid.
The presentation
When it comes to a conference or presentation requiring technical equipment (video projector, audio control room, etc.), Philippe will arrive at the venue at least two hours before the start of the event to ensure that everything is working properly.
For whom are Philippe Boulanger’s interventions and keynotes ?
Philippe’s thesis is simple: innovation must be the responsibility of everyone, without exception, within an organization.
As a result, whether we are talking about technology, products, services, marketing, communication, customer relations, human resources, management, research and development, strategy, or transformation, Philippe has a precise, focused, and effective approach, using his Innovational Intelligence™ system.
Philippe’s interventions will be transformative whether you are in the management bodies of private companies, associations, federations, business or franchise networks, or public organizations serving businesses, such as Chambers of Commerce.
What types of interventions does Philippe Boulanger offer?
Conferences: from private conferences for an executive committee/management committee of around ten people to conferences on stage in front of several thousand people.
Seminars: a mix of conferences and workshops to further unleash Innovational Intelligence™.
Panels in conference, as a participant or moderator.
Support and program: specifically for management teams, the implementation of the Innovational Intelligence™ system within the organization.
Finally, as a master of ceremonies or host, Philippe has “signature” practices that make award ceremonies unforgettable for participants.
While some presentations can be given via videoconference, this is not Philippe’s preferred choice, as his experiments involve physically bringing people from the audience onto the stage. Videoconference presentations, while still possible, therefore have a more limited impact.
In which languages does Philippe Boulanger talk when delivering a keynote?
Philippe’s first language is French and his second is English. Philippe is fluent in both languages.
Since 2017, Philippe has been assisted by simultaneous translation tools that allow him to be understood in a multitude of languages.
As Philippe is at the cutting edge of technology and AI, he will always have a solution to offer you in an international context.
How long does a typical keynote by Philippe Boulanger last?
Depending on your objectives, keynotes can range from a short format (15 minutes) to a longer format (1.5 to 2 hours maximum). The most commonly requested format is 1 hour.
It is important to note that personalized preparation for a short presentation takes just as much time!
A good idea is to take advantage of Philippe’s presence to extend the keynote with specific workshops throughout the day.
Is Philippe Boulanger available after a keynote?
Philippe is one of those rare speakers who strives for excellence in the customer experience. Philippe makes himself available to answer questions during lunches or dinners following the presentation and to sign his books for participants.
What is the cost for a keynote by Philippe Boulanger?
All event projects are different, as is the level of preparation required depending on your expectations. The brief will help to frame the overall context of your event project and prepare the content proposal and associated costs.
Why can’t we see Philippe Boulanger’s full keynotes on YouTube, social networks or this website?
Because Philippe’s keynotes are experiential, and each of the experiments works thanks to the element of surprise. If the experiments are known in advance, the element of surprise disappears, and the impact of the messages associated with the experiments is greatly reduced (as validated by neuroscience and behavioral psychology).
Make an appointment with Philippe, and he will give you a taste of one or two of his signature experiments via videoconference. You will then be able to appreciate the importance of keeping it a secret before your event.
Under what conditions can the keynote be photographed, live broadcasted or recorded?
This is one of the parameters of the brief that will be taken into account in the proposal you receive.
Any live or delayed broadcast is limited to the target audience and must not appear on social media. Availability for delayed broadcast is limited in time.
Photographs or video excerpts from the conference may appear on social media after approval by Philippe or his agent. Excerpts showing the experiments are explicitly prohibited (see previous question above).
What is the difference between a keynote on innovation and a keynote on Innovational Intelligence™?
It is easy to find speakers who will tell you wonderful stories that they have not experienced themselves, found in the public domain, speakers who have never innovated or never had to defend innovation projects in an organization.
Philippe takes you to the heart of the reactor, bringing to life, through live experiments with participants, some of the fundamentals that make Innovational Intelligence™ essential.
Philippe “walks the talk.” For him, it is essential that a conference on innovation be innovative; it is the best way to understand how to unleash innovation and activate real transformation.
What are the opportunities for organizing a conference on Innovational Intelligence™?
In our ever-accelerating world, it is good to remind teams and all employees that innovation is the driver of survival, resilience, and growth. Another of Philippe’s theories is that it is less risky to innovate than to do nothing… provided you know how to innovate, and that is where Innovational Intelligence™ is a critical must have.
Philippe regularly speaks at the following events:
- Ordinary or extraordinary general meetings
- End-of-year ceremonies
- New Year’s ceremonies
- Board or executive committee meetings
- Annual conferences
- Conventions
- Award ceremonies
- Seminars
- Company parties
- Team building
- Panels
- Blogs
Please note that if you are holding an award ceremony at your event, Philippe has an innovative proposal to consider that will ensure the event remains etched in the minds of participants.
